Making:
Step 1: Rinse the shiitake mushrooms and soak the shiitake mushrooms with cold water for the mushrooms to hatch just enough and to have a crispy consistency when cooking.
Save the mushroom water to cook the soup.
Step 2: Put the corn and cove beans in the bowl to drain. For chopped potatoes and pruned carrots.
Step 3: Stir-fry potatoes with carrots to infuse salt paste for about 10 minutes.
Step 4: Add shiitake mushrooms and stir-fry.
Step 5: Add 2 bowls of water and cook for 10 minutes.
Step 6: Then add the corn and beans. Spicy taste. Decorate a few more aromatic branches on the five-color soup.
Vegetarian wet cake
One of the vegetarian treats you can make too is wet cake. This cake is popular in Central Vietnam,
But for the North, you can replace it with a delicious noodle cake.
Material:
13-15 wet rolls
Half a bag of rice rolls 200g, 450ml of water, half a teaspoon of salt, 2 tablespoons of cooking oil.
Or you can simply use pre-bought wet cakes or fresh pho
2 pre-fried tofu covers or you can buy fresh tofu and fry
1 carrot to taste
10g dried wood ear fungus (also known as cat mushroom)
Vegetarian seasoning or monosodium glutamate, salt, bar onions, pepper, soy sauce
Sauce with sauce: Cu Da soy sauce or you can use soybeans, sugar, chili, and roasted peanuts
Basil
Wet cake is one of the specialty vegetarian dishes of Hue people.
Making:
Step 1: Gold fried tofu, sliced thinly to taste. Carrots peeled, washed, sliced. Wood ear soaked, chopped.
Bar onions, washed, chopped. Wash and drain vegetables.
Step 2: Heat a little oil in a pan, add carrots, bar onions and stir-fry. Add the wood ear and stir fry together,
season with a pinch of salt.
Step 3: Add the tofu and stir-fry, pour a little soy sauce into the pan, use the chopsticks to stir well, taste the spices to taste.
Fry the tofu for 5-7 minutes, then turn off the heat, sprinkle a little pepper on the surface, scoop out a plate to separate.
Step 4: Wet cake you can use pre-mixed flour packages, mix according to instructions and when coated
then you can roll thicker than normal rolls, for simplicity you can buy wet rice paper pre-coated
or fresh noodle cake.
Step 5: After the cake is wet, pour it on a plate or tray with a little cooking oil spread.
Next, put on the surface of the cake wet a little cinnamon.
Then use a spoon to scoop some tofu that was stir-fried in step 4 on top of the basil, roll it up with your hands.
You continue to finish the filling and the cake.
Step 6: Mix sauce: add sugar, crushed chili into the bowl of Cu Da soy sauce,
Tasting the taste depending on your preference. You can mix a lot, store in the refrigerator to use gradually.
